Welcome to TEDNET

TEDNET is The Existential Detective Network. Originally, it was going to be a lil’ website that loaded a random quip about “existing as a human” through the lenses of philosophy, psychology, spirituality and the like. However, I find myself specifically interested in our current situation: we seem, as many others may attest, at a sort of crossroads or transition into a new era. Perhaps, in your own circles of interest, you've seen people talking about a “new age“? A new way of doing business? The seeming rise in spirituality? Or, perhaps with a more negative tinge as “the end of something”? Maybe even just the implications of AI on the economy and society as a whole?

In any case, this transition is being talked about in the realms of business, economics, politics, society, religion, spirituality—really, all realms of human concern. My aim here, is to discuss how related these all actually are. To show that we are indeed at an incredible time of human existence where we are transitioning from one era to another—from one form of society to another. And, more than that, how to work with this change rather than fight it.

To come along with me on this ride will definitely require an open mind. I view this transition through many lenses and perspectives. From science, technology and history to religion, philosophy and spirtuality. Oh, and there's definitely going to be some Astrology involved. Over time, my aim is to amass a collection of writing that shows how interconnected everything is. And, ultimately, how important perspective and awareness truly are.
